COBRA/HIPAA

Morneau Shepell has developed a system to assist clients in performing COBRA administrative services and comply with HIPAA for privacy issues. Our typical model for COBRA administration involves a full range of outsourcing functions, including: initial notification of COBRA rights, Qualified Event (QE) reporting, COBRA election, billing process, open enrollment and customer service. From a systems standpoint, Morneau Shepell has adopted the HIPAA 834 standard to comply with HIPAA regulations.
